George McGinnis is an American retired professional basketball player who was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2017. He played 11 seasons in the American Basketball Association (ABA) and the National Basketball Association (NBA). The future Hall of Famer was drafted into the ABA from Indiana University in 1971.
